Default More problems with my '03 allroad

Went to Audi in order to solve "pull to the right". Dealer says it is solved now, let us see.
Anyway, the car was brought to the body shop (another place) for small damage on bumper. When they finished the car didn't start: empty battery!
They thought the cause was the carkit (not installed by Audi), but even after having it isolated the car continues to "eat" current. Now it has brought back to the Audi dealer ....

Guys (M/F), I was as enthusiastic as most of you about this car, but it is really doing its best to change my mind. This weekend we had 10-25 cm of snow in northern Italy, and I was driving a FWD Alfa instead of my allroad. In a fortnight I will go skiing for one week, so if it is not going to be ready by then, I am personally going to kill A...

Resume: At 11 months and less than 10.000 miles I've had:
Oil leakage from transmission
Broken turbine
Consistent pull to the right (once not solved, let us see this second time)
Battery empty and not recharging

What's next?

Default Do you have anything plugged into the lighter socket?

For reasons unknown to me, VW and Audi do not turn off the power to the lighter sockets when the car is turned off and the key removed. If you have (as I did) a radar detector or cell phone plugged into a lighter socket, they will discharge the battery.

Default No, but I don't know where the handsfree set gets its power from.

Anyway they told me this is not the problem.

Default I had a bad battery as well

After little over 3 years/30K miles, it just died. Came home from a long road trip, parked the car for 5 hours. Would not start again, showed 8 volts of current. Jumpstarted, drove 25 minutes to work and same thing...did not accept charge. Dealer rep came within 3 hours, jumpstarted, drove to dealership, replaced battery and returned the car in the afternoon. "Bad cell" in the battery was the diagnosis. Now it's fine.

Hi.
I did read something about current draw related to the suspension. I just mention it because you never know .... Don't know if it still holds for 03 allroads. Anyway I hope they ll fix it soon!

search for allroad in this link

I had the same problem and was also told it was car kit. Nokia 6310 kit. Had the kit reinstalled by a different company and problem went away. With the ignition key out and no phone in the cradle can you still use the stereo? If not this indicates that kit is leaking to earth via the stereo so even if phone is disconected there can still be a problem.
