I usually just leave the car in level 1 and only raise it to 2 (sometimes 3) if we get rain. But I'm in SoCal the car usually just stays in 1.

Default When I am next to an Outback or CrossCountry...

I push it up to level 4, just to make them jealous, otherwise, I pretty much stay in level 2, but I live in Colorado and we have some bumps in the road.

Default Often!

Usually leave it on level 1 in the summer with no load, level 2 with a load. Level 2 is the norm during winter with level 3 when it's snowing good. We use level 3 and level 4 for offroading. This coming weekend I'm headed up north - 2.5 hours of interstate followed by 15 miles of snow covered fire roads and two-track trails. Level 2 on the way up (which will likely drop to level 1 a few times), level 3 the rest of the weekend until I get to the really crappy parts of the trail, then it's level 4.

So, we adjust the height on it quite a bit!

Default To make it less stable and reduce its cornering and braking ability of course!

Ours is on level 1 always unless we're showing it off or for some strange reason actually needed to increase ground clearance (i.e., to go over a curb or if the streets have flooded).

Default For long highway trips I leave it automatic (3). It eventually goes to 1 anyway.

For in city or highway traffic, I like to lower it to 1. My wife isn't quite as spirited in her driving so she always leaves it in automatic.

Default L1 99% of the time. Wife raises to L2 when she drives it because ...

she thinks the car is too low on L1.

Default by "tootsies" do you mean door sills & fender bottoms?

Does that really work? I wouldn't have guessed it would keep the car cleaner...

If so, then it would also make your car fater, if you...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/allroad/msgs/73221.phtml">belive this thread ;-)</a></li></ul>
