Default Re-drilled hubs

Anyone tried to weld their hubs, re-drill it and installed studs for a 5-lug bolt pattern?

Default News about Urs4/100Q 5-bolt hubs on B3 B4

OK, SO! The FRONT wheel bearing part number for 20v B3 and B4 is identical to the the URS4 part number. This is NOT what you will find in etka, but it is what you will find in the database of my wholesale parts supplier. That said, If you wanna do a 5-bolt conversion..in the front...you use URS4 or 100 quattro hubs and rotors, and caliper carriers if you want. But you should use the stock B4 calipers if you want the brakes to operate as designed. You should also put a 3mm washer under the caliper carriers - on the mounting bolt - to compenstate for the 3mm deeper rotor hats. This will not affect safety performance. SOrry, but the 10v B3 does not appear to work out like this however, there is stilla chance.

what about the rear of a B4q? Does that use a4 hubs?

My cousin works at a machine shop. All I would need, I guess is the correct measurements. These dam machinist can't do anything without them, hehe
