Default I did not do anything to mine yet,but was told

that there's a brown foam in there that starts deteriorating. So i guess if You try to do anything you need to clean and scrub that foam under headliner to successfully glue it back

Yes the orange/brown foam crap will not bond to glue.

Default So... how do you fix headliner / door panel problems?

Is matching cloth available anywhere? Has anyone tackled this job before?

I just got a second Audi (Having so much fun working on my 1991 90, I got a 1992 80). It has lots of problems with loose headliner.

The door panel cloth was amatuerly glued down (slopped glue all over and underneath it is lumpy) and probably ruined. But with new cloth, maybe it would be possible to restore them back...

Any advice? Thanks!

Default Same problem

I have the same problem and need to take it out to repair it, however I can't seem to remove some of the accessories to get the headliner out. Sun visors, "oh ****" bars, etc. Anyone take these out that can give me a hand?

Thanks but taking a few screws out didn't seem to be enough. Some pieces don't appear to have screws and I'm not sure what's holding them in and don't wanna break them.
