LED turnsignals in RS2 lights.
The orange LEDs will blink brighter than any incandescent bulb, appear completely clear, and use less wattage.
Opinions?
Second, the led's w/stock wiring blink so fast you can't really see them blink.
Third, you can only see then from straight on. If you're on the side of the car one can't tell you're turning because they focus light out, not inside the reflector.
They would show up somewhat to the sides, because the B3/B4 corner lenses are very fluted and it seems the light would get bounced off the reflector that way.
Very interested to see where you found some and how it comes out! Keep us posted! Thanks

Resistors are needed.

There's plenty of space in the parkinglight portion of an RS2 headlamp. If we used 20 LED's, we might not even need resistors as the wattage draw is close to stock.
p.s., the LED thing is still in development. If you want more details do a search for "RS2 LED" for my previous posts.
Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
ONE of thoes is MUCH brighter than any incandesant bulb....
they sell cheaper 1-watt ones that last longer...
a 1-watt Luxeon Star is as bright as one tail lamp (5-watt red incandesant bulb)
three 1-watt stars are brighter than a brake lamp....
what i would get is 6 (3 per side) 1-watt amber luxeon stars with their associated optic lenses...
you can also invert the lense for an almost 180 degree viewing angle!
in the picture:
LEFT = Luxeon star with optics (that lense is bit smaller than a quarter)
CENTER = standard Luxeon star
RIGHT = the emitter....HEATSINK REQUIRED!
yeah...thats right.....an LED so bright it needs a friggin heat sink!

http://www.theledlight.com/LuxeonLEDs.html</a
