My radio is on safe mode?
I did a forum search, one thing came up, I can turn the radio on for 2 hours or something like that and it should reset its self... not sure if that's correct or not, thanks
If you are really lucky, you will have the radio handbook with the code card. If not, you may still be lucky, if the code sticker was not removed from the trunk area. Try behind the spare tire, or under the carpet up on the right hand side.
Depending on your exact radio, you press two buttons at the same time to reach the "Code Entering Zone."
Code hints: (First number can only be 1 or blank). Some radios were just set with 1000 = default on some. Use the first radio button for the first number, second radio button for the second, etc....
If you don't have the code and the radio was coded, take your radio with serial number and car title to the dealer. They can look it up on the web.
BUT - Some radios had a fixed code, while some radios allowed the customer to change the code. In that case, you are screwed, unless the previous owner knows it!

"Hard" coded radios will have a "Code" sticker located in the trunk at time of delivery. It may also be identified by a number indicating how many times the incorrect code was entered. The number appears in the lower left corner of the radio display.
Vehicles outfitted with a "Soft Code" radio will not have a "Code" sticker located in the trunk at delivery time, nor will a "Code" sticker be placed in the radio owner booklet.
The part number for "Hard" code and "Soft" code radios are as follows:
Radio == Hard Code P/N == Soft Code P/N
Wiesbaden == 893 035 180A == 893 035 180
Delta == 893 035 093B == 893 035 093
Delta/Bose== 893 035 093C == 893 035 093A

¤ Security CODE will appear on display.
Push and hold AM/FM and SCAN buttons once again until display changes to SAF E .
