My ladies's 93 90CS has started to pop when she turns the steering wheel to the left....

it isn't the CV joint, it's new. Could it be the link rod or the balljoint? Anybody have this problem before?

Could be a loose strut nut as well, shock nut is not tight enough and is letting the shock jump inside the strut.

Nah, it ain't the strut. it's coming from the lower area.

how much you need to turn the wheels to get the knock.

If it is i have been having the same problem just havent had time to look at it.

I had the same noise in the same situation. Try the CV-Boot. Easy $135 fix.

Mine does that too

Mine does the same thing and I'm wondering if it's either a) something in the steering or b) related to the new Koni shocks I had installed a few months ago. I remember several people saying at the time that a small amount of oil should be added to the strut before installing the shock. The installation guy thought that was nuts and didn't do it but now I am not so sure.
