Miktip or anyone please help-glovebox removal

I have to replace my blower resistor(fan speed only works on 3-4) I searched the forum and it said remove 4 8mm bolts. I saw 4 hex or star screws but that was for the vinyl outer trim cover. which for screws is to drop the box out? I saw 2 bolts on the top front and 2 on the bottom foot well but they looks like it is for the hole metal box that the glove box is contained in. Does anyone have a diagram. Help!!

Re: check where the hinge is for the glove box.

You should have at least a few bolts holding the pivot point onto the dash. I think bentley might even have that one there as well.

thanks for the smart *** answer, Now how do you remove the damn glovebox.

anyhow, here are the diagrams & explination I have. good luck

1 - Remove cover on front passenger side.

2 - Remove screw "A" from locking plate (upper forward screw)
3 - Remove four mounting screws "B"
4 - Press glove compartment toward vehicle center and remove downward
