I think its an 85 golf. A lot of custom work done to it. It has a 2.0L with complete european set up and an old VW syncro (not sure how to spell it) driver terrain in it. He kinda blew the rear diff a while back so he took a piece of the drive shaft out and ran it as a G2 car. It has a huge intake cam in it also that makes a lot of torque, and produces a nice loapy idle which sounds really cool. Kinda like what my car sounds like when the ISV is acting up.

Re: I was interested in getting a second gen GSX but i found the audi instead
One of our buddies has a 1st gen talon tsi awd. He broke it though, guess he hit a big rock. Kinda sucks cause this is the second rally in a row he's gotten a dnf. previous one he had an oil leak and engine went boom.

Was trying to find out what engine it had by looking threw an cooling hole in the hood. Its a 10vt. Talked to them some pretty nice guys. They brought a friend whom drove a black coupe

These guys, seem to be in their late 20's. Just bought it, like this year i think. The previous owner raced i guess 13 times and never finished a race. These guys have raced twice now and completed both events.
