Default Idle Problem - its not ISV ...more

Determined my idle problem is not ISV. Will be replacing O2 sensor and have vac test done. What else could I do to remedy problem...idle bops up and down from 1000 - 1400 when engine reachs normal operating temperature.

Check the PCV valve, or the intake hose...any leaks here cause irradic idle.

Default Why would I know that?Do I look like I drive a 7A?

Just a suggestion for a solution to a common problem. For most cars, irradic idle is caused by one of two things. Vacuum leaks, ISV or PCV. Somewhere air is leaving the system. I see you'll be on my back, so I'll make sure I'll be watching what I post;-) Thanks Repeater, can I call you Tim?

Default Well I just thought an Audi tuner would know that.

PS, And you don't drive a 7A, you install it or drive the car that it's in ;-)
