Probably a dumb question, but...

I cant seem to get the rear taillight off my car. I removed 4 nuts off the back , but still cant seem to get the lens off. Its the driver side one that curves around the corner of the car. Am I missing a nut/bolt or is it stuck in from the black goo (sealant?) around the lens? I didnt want to pull too hard before I knew I wouldnt break it.

if all nuts are removed only the black sealant holds it

Second that.

That black goo is some strong stuff - you really have the grab the edge of the tailight and pull - it will come out. The stuff's more like tar!

i think you can use a hair dryer to warm up the goo and it will be easier to remove
