As far as you buying a CQ, past maintinance records will help you know what is good to go and what may need attention. The timing belt is probably the most important one, also check out the suspension; a lot of little susp. parts and labor can run up a healthy bill. Other than that and the basics (runs well, decent shifting, no 'weird' noises, no highway shimmies) you should be good to go. Good luck!!
