MORE HELP!
Is it true that when you kill the battery on an AUDI that you need to have the throttle reset by bringing it to the audi dealer?
To be honest to everyone here. Audis are nice looking cars but ever since I got mine I have been having nothing but headaches. I HATE IT. Anyone want to but mine? lol.
Its a 1988 Audi 80. Dark blue, sunroof, good tires. New exhaust. Will take best offer. I just want to get rid of it.

1. It IS a used car - still cheaper than new
2. You don't see yourself coming and going like if you owned a Jeep, Pontiac, Honda, etc.
3. for a 13 year old car, there is absolutely no body rust.
The computer (ECU) is reset by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes or so. That's all there is to it.
You've got to know a little something about cars to have one that's 16 years old and keep it running. Nothing too complicated about it.
But, if you buy a car that old - ANY brand - and expect it to be problem free & repair free, then your expectations are out of synch with reality.

Maybe that information would be helpful for A4 & A6 forums, but has nothing to do with the cars in this forum....
Just wondering, that's all.....???
