Default CQ brake/S2 hub upgrade - best prices/sites for parts?

I'm hoping that a few of you have already done the legwork and saved a few bucks by surfing the 'net. Here's what I'm in need of:

S2 front/rear hubs (Europrice - $682.52)
RS2 caliper adapters (Europrice - $195.30)

Prices from www.cresentporsche.com:
FRONT:
Front wheel bearings - 893 498 625E - $94.98 ea.
A8 front brake rotor (323x30) - 4D0 615 301J - $145.23/ea.
Porsche Big Red brake caliper - $299/ea.
What size/kind of brake pad?

REAR:
Rear wheel bearings - 8A0 498 625 - $76.21/ea.
2003 A4 Cabriolet 4-cyl (245x10) rear rotor - 8E0 615 601B - $67.80/ea.
What size/kind of pads?

I noticed on the 2Bennett site that they sell a Stage 2 Brembo front brake kit for $1980. Would this setup worth the extra $$$?

Since I'll be changing out to the S2 hubs, how necessary is it to change out the wheel bearings? Is it not worth trying to cut costs and reusing my current ones?

Thanks for your help!
Patrick

Order the rear brake rotor I told you about. MUCH cheaper, $16.22/each from the site I told you to check out. The rear WB kit is also only $44.65/side from them. Front kit is $55.42/side.

For pads, just run the factory compounds for now. Also, the 323mm rotor, when used with the 993tt caliper, will cause an imbalance of the braking system. Rears should be upgraded as well, I am looking into this myself.

Roommate just about a pair of lightly used 993C2 calipers for $300, with pads, shipped. You could go that route, with the RS2 carrier, and run a shim to use the lessor expensive calipers with the larger rotors. Wouldn't take much of a shim, 9.5mm thick is all.

Default What year and model Porsche do the Big Reds come off of?

I'm trying to find a better price on the Porsche Big Red front calipers, but I don't know what year and model of car they are from. Btw, thanks much to cuatrokoop and Audi_80 for helping me find sites to buy these parts from!

1995-1997/8 911 turbo (aka 993tt) = "Big Red" brakes

993C2 = 911 Carerra 2 (RWD, 270hp), had 304x32 rotors and black calipers. That is what I am using over a 304x32 rotor, and my roommate is using the same caliper over a 330x32 rotor.
