if you still got a good amount of grease in it I wouldn't be too worried
If it looks pretty dry in there then I would get it fixed up asap. BTW it isn't too bad of a DIY fix if you buy the ~$15 kit and are willing to get dirty.

A lot easier to replace it than to take it apart cuz...
u need special clamp plier thinggies and then swuirt in the grase bla bla bla. Istead you just need a torx 12 point bit and some basic tools to remove and install the new one.
