Default P/N and price for S2 front rotors needed for a CQ...

Are there any other compatible ones from other model years that would fit with the S2 front hubs? Can someone confirm the size of the OEM vs. S2 front brake rotor size? (I think they're the same with different bolt patterns.) Lastly, can the stock calipers, carriers, pads, etc. be reused for this mod? Thanks!

Default Redrilling the stock CQ rotors is the most economical

Stock CQ front brake components can be retained. This is exactly what I am doing until I decide which brake upgrade to go with, if any.

I told you before, that the only difference between the S2 and CQ rotors was the bolt pattern. I also told you that the braking systems were identical, except for the bolt pattern. No offense, but pay attention, and read things through. I said all that in email replies to you, and on here when you asked the same questions I had already answered via email. Not trying to be a d!ck, just have a lot of other things to be doing, so when I take time out to answer a question someone asks me, and then they don't listen or don't pay attention to the answer, it tends to make me mad and want to smack them upside the head.

cuatrokoop-

Your emails have been very helpful and I know that the S2 vs. OEM rotors sizes are the same- just diff. bolt patterns. I might hold off on doing the front big brake upgrade, so I was debating whether I should wait to do the S2 hub conversion until I have all of the big brake parts or if I should just buy some S2 front rotors to hold me off until then. I didn't even think of redrilling the stock rotors to match the bolt pattern. Btw, the site that you gave me for the parts is the cheapest around. Thanks!

THe reason I didn't give you the S2 front rotor part number, is that specific rotor is not available in the USA from normal channels (such as an Audi dealer, or a company like I directed you to). They have to be brought in specially, unfortunately.

Redrilling certainly is a (temporary, IMO) option. If you do that, and want it to be actually pretty good, I'd weld one of the holes over, and machine it to match the rest of the surface. Then put the holes in.
