Just out of curiosity, does a lowered car play havoc with the strut bearings and tierods?

Just out of curiosity, does a lowered car play havoc with the strut bearings and tierods?

Default If its been dropped too low, yes. The suspension geometry changes too drastically...
...and prematurely wears the parts.

Default Not too drastically but I'm suspecting the Intrax springs might be causing...
both said elements to suffer premature failure.

Default How low is too low???? Cuz my B+G will give me a 1.6 inch drop
and i hope it wont give me any probs

Default When I first lowered my car, I had the same thing happen...
I went through a set of blue strut bearings in about 6 months. I stepped up to the green meanies, and I've not had a problem since. For the tie-rods, I don't know what to tell you, other than they may have just lived out their useful life. Did you replace them when you put the new springs on?

About 6 months ago. Total suspension rebuild.

Intrax & Bilstein dropped about 1.5". Maybe too low for a CQ.
