Anyone ever swapped manual HVAC for auto climate controlled one?

Default Anyone ever swapped manual HVAC for auto climate controlled one?
I've got an Audi 90 from 1989. Wondering if such a job is at all possible and if the Auto one jsut pushes and pulls the wire-rods like the manual and if there are any differences in the harnesses. I think I screwed up mine and thought it might be an interesting change.

An enormous undertaking if not down right expensive.

Default Skolie....I got your e-mail but for some reason couldn't reply...
it gives me some error, but anyways, I don't have it....those trims are not too pricey, $30 new maybe? Rad support I don't know
