Any way to re-galvanized fog light harness?
both of my fog light pieces have been de-galvanized to the max thanx to water and snow recently. Does anyone knwo of how to re-galvanize metal? It seems these parts are way to hard to find. What I do in the meantime is configure a spade plug to lay down on the bulb bas and bend the O/neg wire to fit on the flt end of the spade. It has been working quite well now for about a year on one side, but this is kinda the "ghetto" way to do it. I like to be proper!

well yeah kinda
I'm refereing to that little metal plate that the H1 bulb goes over(the circular rim of the bulb housing with the two little nipples) that is attached to the silver-ish aluminum insiding. It has the metal clamp thing attached to it as well. This piece can be taken off by prying the two little crimps away. The negative lead plugs onto the cylinder of this peice as well.
This piece, whatever it may be called, gets rusty or water soaked and becomes de-galvanized making it unconductive to an electric circuit.
I rigged a sytem that seems to work but like to have things in order.
