Audi Spyder Video and Pictures

Found a good sight with pictures and a video of the spyder.

the car is an aluminum chassis, with a midengine torsen quattro V6 with an openable solar roof, and all you can say is nice steering wheel.............

I've thought about doing that actually...I've been a little confused as to what the transmission looked like (it was a production unit). From engine bay pictures, the entire 12v is shoved "all the way" to the passenger side of the car. Wondering if they took a FWD 016 and stuck a TorSen in it, then ran a rear Type44/4A diff and suspension, and took a rear B2/B3 diff and used it up front with the U/LCA setup?

Ya I was thinking along those lines too since that would put the driveshafts strait down the middle. I wonder if the V8s rear torsen would fit there since it already has the ring gear.

For such a nice car there really isn't any information out there on it.

If you do ever decide to build one, I'd be glad to participate. I think the worst of your problems in making it would be the custom parts such as body and monocoque.
