Default Front brakes to rear

Hi all, well the 90 Coupe to AAN S2 project is coming along slow but sure. The engine is back together and ready to go in and the 6 speed tranny is getting figured out. I used my S4 front hubs and Big Blacks with Porsche rotors and aluminum hats on the front and am thinking about putting the stock front brakes on the rear with S2 hubs. Has anyone done this? I realize it may be a little much but I hope to have the shop adjust the bias to allow this to work. Any experiance is appreciated.

Another issue to consider: will you have enough master cylinder volume? The porsche brakes may use more fluid than the g60s, and I'm sure the g60s use more fluid than the stock rear single piston brakes.

I think the shop will have to add an adjustable brake bias valve if you change the rear calipers.

I don't think it's worth the effort, myself. I'd consider ducting some air to the rear brakes, and good pads, but that's it. Rest is probably cosmetic.

Default I know, I just don't want to miss anything that will be a big PITA later...

I am also waiting on my tubular exhaust manifold and would like to get it on before the engine goes in but if not the RS2 manifold will have to do for a while.

Default you could also put UrS4 rotors and calipers in the rear

that way you keep the parking brake. Also, i believe you can use the rear calipers off of a B5 S4 with the Ur rotor, and the B5 caliper is aluminum, so it keeps the weight down, while keeping the parking brake. I believe the f/r bias is set by the block that the lines run to after leaving the MC, not totally sure though.

In most states, working E-Brake / Parking Brake is an inspection item - U fail if it doesn't work.
