Motor is pulled........crank broke in half at the last journal

Default Motor is pulled........crank broke in half at the last journal
which in turn, blew the back end of the motor apart. We are talking the size of a softball. When crank went it dropped the flywheel onto the bellhousing leaving a nice score mark on the bellhousing. So far tranny seems okay, but will need a new flywheel also. I'll have pictures up as soon as I can. I gotta tell you gentlemen it is UGLY!

Default Wow, seen cams alot, but only one crank besides yours...
And that was an a very neglected Chevy 350. Motor must have been oil starved, I'd think.

Unheard of! I've seen crank bolts get loose on couple A4' but crank in a half???
