took a ride in a fun little car this weekend -- rice?? nah.....
a buddy of mine in missoula has been working on this car for the past couple years. its a 89 (?) nissan 240sx coupe (not hatchback) with the s13 silvia front end conversion and sr20det motor in it. for those that dont know, this is a very popular conversion among the japanese car tuners, but he has so far spent about 8000 on it, so not really worth it, imo. but this thing was fast!!! and even driftable. the turbo was going out went i went for the ride, but even with only about 6.5lbs boost, the car was nice and quick. around one corner on a back road, all he had to do was downshift, stomp the gas, turn the wheel to throw the back end out, scary but impressive. anyone else familiar with this car/conversion??
