'94 cab Convertable top problem!
The top on my '94 cab will only retract partway. As soon as the top cover starts to rise, is seems to catch and stop, stopping the entire retraction process. When I puch the top button it will go back just fine. HELP!

Where does it stop
Does is stop when the lid tries to open. Need more detail, I just finished replacing my top and doing some other work. Is it snagging on something. If the cover starts to open (the lid) and stops after it unlocks from the body then you have a central locking system issue. Probably on the trunk lock. There is a little actuator there with a sensor that tells the central locking system that the trunk is open and to not retract the top. Your best bet is to take a picture right when it malfunctions and post it so I can see where it snags.
