I bought another coupe quattro today and the story to go with it:
Hi guys.
I bought another coupe quattro today. Pearl white and gray interior. Never even started the thing or test drove it. Wasn't an issuse. I saw the problems it had and it didn't bother me. Clean title nevertheless and very minimal body issuses.
I am going to go through it and make sure it's has potential for a rebuild and if not it's going to become a parts car.
I am not going to work on this beast for quite a few months but I figured I post to let you guys know some things I will probably be working on.
First off. 99% sure that the place that I keep the coupe located at will be right next door to the shelby cobra fiber glass body company. Once my coupe is road worthy I am most likely going to have them make copies of the bumpers on my "es2" project.
Secondly I am not going to keep both cars. Say what you want but I am probably building another "es2" or "Ev8" and selling it or the one I am currently building. I will be keeping all paper work on spenditures and photos to show progress.
I would like to think I will have the car completed a year from today. Quite possibly it may take even longer.
I am going to "overhaul" everything. Possibly strip it down to shell.
It will possibly get a full respray too, However not pearl white.
Quite sure it will but I don't want to jump on that idea yet.

Josh, sorry to say, but its going to be tough to make a profit on any project car you choose to sell
I wish you luck, but that is more then you're going to need, people just do not want to pay for work done to the car. This has been proven over and over again in the past few months with the other eS2's and 10vT Coupes and other projects...

the problem is time, not money. Time is what I have and good marketing
It's not necessarily about profit. It's about putting to use the knowledge I have with b3/b4 platform cars.
When I 1/4 mile the car and it does low 11s people will notice it. ;-)
