im pissed now..i need new tail lights (NOT the crappy DEPO or whatever the ****...they leak after a while)....so...

i bought some Hella black tail lights from (ill let you know later)... i previously got some Hella white blinkers from them for cheap and they work nicely...

now...i have a B3....you know...thoes little Audis made from 1988 to 1992? yea....so i order some B3 tail lights...sounds simple?



today in the mail, i get a nice box with the lights in them...as im looking at the lights, seeing how nice the seals are on them, dreaming about a trunk that doesnt leak (thoes tail light "cords" dont do anything), i notice the Audi on the box has flared fenders....and big tires...

"oh crap...." i think.....

the box says they fit audis from 9 of 1991 on...yep....B4....great...

so i cech the invoice, and it says i ordered B3 lights....and the sticker on the other side of the box says they are B3 lights....so mabey there is some hope....

...i went out to the garage to grab a spare set of B3 lights....well....what do you know?

THEY SENT ME THE WRONG FRIGGIN LIGHTS...

the PRINT on the box says B4...yet some rocket scientist slapped a tracking label on the side, saying it was a set of B3 tails!

i have yet to call the company, so you may think 'what is so bad?' when i was on the phone ordering, the guy said "let me check for you...yep! ONE SET LEFT!"

im worried now...i dont want to pay $600 for a set of Hellas elsewhere when these were almost HALF that price!!!!

anyone know where else i can buy some B3 Hellas?

 

Doh! Sorry to hear that. AFAIK the B3 tinted tails are more rare than the B4s! :-x

 

depos and glazing tape from home depot... won't leak for years

 

Coupe tinted tails aka Tresers are even rarererer... :-)
