Update on water leak
I re-plumbed to take the heater matrix out of the system, seemed OK until the British weather did it's usual thing of sending an overnight deluge.
Inside of car wet again, Dad, myself and hose pipe spent the morning searching...
Result: Small hole in channel between inner wing and bulkhead was allowing water to enter the car behind the carpet on the wheel arch.
Solution: A small amount of silicone seal and a replacement plastic facia (the one the wipers go through) from the local dealership (14.99 + vat)
