stereo installation
I have recently bought a used JVC cd reciever model no. kd-s670. I am looking to install it in my Audi 80 1991 model, but I am having trouble with some wire connections. I hooked with an adaptor that I boought and hooked it up with all the same colors, and the third socket from original stero is not hooked up and i see words on the screen, but i get no sound out of it. I can put a cd into it, but i dont know why I cannot hear anything. I was reading an article and it saays I have to bypass the harness, yet I dont really know what or where the wire harness is.

You have to rewire the rear speakers.
They are amplified stock, and it won't work with an aftermarket stereo. You also need to tap into the ignition wire harness. I would reccomend to STFA, as the write ups in there are better than I can do.
