finally managed to get my tire off today
the driver front on my 88 which makes a thud, thud sound when putting on the brakes is in question. the bolts were almost welded on but I managed to get them loose so i tore my brakes apart and can't see anything. It does feel like the rotor warped though (ate powerdisc which at one point it was mentioned on the forum they are prone to warp?)
anycase, they are a year or so old and the other side is fine. its not a smart thing to replace one side and not the other since it could pull so I am basically going to have to buy new rotors for both sides.
I did notice the outer pad was stuck to the carrier and did not move so i grinded a bit off of it so it fits but it looks like the pad was stuck when it hit the rotor.
its getting annoying to always have to tear down the old girlings and relube, seat and soforth.
so after all that, just buy new solid rotors or try and have the powerdiscs turned?
