Poll..Stupidest injury you ever got working on your ride?
Mine...pulling on a punch with a pair of pliers that was stuck in a hole trying to force out a retaining pices holding the distributor gear
to the shaft, while a_CQ is hitting the body with a hammer. F'n thing pulled right out like a bullet, hitting me just below my eye, shattering the lens in my sunglasses and opening my face up. My lady was not happy.

Laying under the car and....
using the dremel to cut off a stubborn bolt on the downpipe from the tubular manifold. Only one bolt was left and when I finally grinded it off the downpipe promptly fell on my forehead. Luckily no blood, but a nice big bruise.

having the jack nearly crumble me...
when the hydraulic gave out on my vintage jack and my arm and shoulder was burried into the wheel well. I twisted my arm up pretty bad and the car fell on the rotor and stuff. Quite scary as a matter of fact.

I've got a few
Had a breaker bar under tension, it lost its grip and nailed me right under the eye, I looked like Rocky for a couple days.
Working on a lift, I used the incorrect spacers to jack up my K-5 blazer, so one corner decided to slip out while my truck was in the air, some scary **** watching that balancing act putting the car on the ground.
And my favorite, I was removing the tensioner on a 1.8t, this was an old style 98 or 99, and they have a spring with this little sliver of metal inside, well long story short I put too much tension on the spring and it bent in half sending that little metal sliver straight into my finger.

Dropped the tranny from my old 5ktq on my thumb in the middle of Feb. Ow!
Only to try and take the whole thumb off a couple weeks ago by catching it in the chopsaw making brackets for the turbos in the 90.
