Default Installed some new seats today....

I picked up a set of Corbeau GTS-II seats off some guy on Craigslist the other day. They're used, but in perfect shape. I wanted a set of Sparco Torinos or something to that effect...but I didn't have ~$1k to spend on seats. These were only $275.
This wasn't a simple bolt-in application though... I had to order a set of universal sliders and fab up my own brackets because it seems like no one makes an aftermarket slider/bracket for the b3/b4 cars. After I got that sorted out, they fit in the Cq perfectly.
I replaced the stock seats mainly because they were really uncomfortable to me....and half of the power features were shot. They were in excellent shape though.

My first impression of the Corbeau's vs the stock seats-
They're very supportive...the side bolsters are nice...and now I don't have to bother with those damned power seats that never worked right. So I put the stock seats up in the garage attic until I get ready to sell the car (no, the stock seats aren't for sale).

Anyways, Just thought I'd come out of hiding and show off my new seats :-D

No prob. I don't think these are the wide version. I'm a 33~ish in the waist and the seat fits me very well. The website says these seats will fit up to a 38" waist, and that seems very accurate to me.
The wide version fits up to a 42"(44"?)waist, iirc. But the base is 2" wider on those, so I'm not to sure that they'd fit in the cq/90, because my seats fit with hardly any extra room on either side.

Default There are sliders for the non-power seat cars, but since the CQ has power, no slider/bracket.

I made an adapter to use my power seat base, as it was about $15 plus my time versus buying and then installing a universal base.

Nice....what kind of adjustability do they have? Just front-back or else?

Wow thats not bad. I would have done the same thing, but most of the power functions on both seats were inop. And I like manual adjustable seats way more than power.
