Default I had an interesting experience last night...(long)

I thought people might want something to read on this rather slow monday morning...

I live in a not so desirable part of Seattle in which is known for gang and lots of illegal activity. Last night when I was driving home, I noticed a riced out Honda Civic Hatchback. Note that my car is newly painted but still debadged and he was revving up to me behind me for quite a while. It sounded to me like he had a B18 motor in his car because I could hear the VTec when he got on it. Anyways...I pull up to a stoplight in which I am in the left turn signal lane and hes in the lane to the right of me with more hondas behind me. He yells something to the extent of "get out of your car" and this small asian dude gets out and reaches for my unlocked passenger door. I go ahead and run the light red and they all do too...(At this point I didnt know what was going on).
I continued to get on it down Rainer Ave. This guy with the B18'ed Honda is somewhat on my tail. I was really suprised what this new modded 20v motor had on him. I was gaining atleast 7-10 car lengths with every gear. I was around 120 when I hammered on the brakes and went down a side street. He now was in my territory. I was running every single stop sign whether there were cars or not. I then went to one of my favorite late night corners that actually has two stop signs, but at night you can see the headlights of other cars. I entered it at 60 and didnt let up, my *** end was kicking out and I was sliding. At this point I flipped off my lights and moments later in my rearview and from my window I hear screaching, the honda lost control and slid off the road, either crashing into a tree or sliding into the gravel. To say the least I owned his ***. I drove the rest of the way home in 5th so my exhaust wasnt heard and guided by the light of the moon. My car went right back into the garage where she belongs and hopefully I dont have another run in with this honda gang. I was pretty suprised with this new motor and my mad driving skills to be able to ditch him (considering my stock suspension and he being lowered with a fast motor and all). I guess its still a honda no matter what. And yes I did call the police to report this gang activity and attempted car jacking.
All in all:
B18'ed Honda (and his ricer gang) 0
My Newly painted and motored CQ 1.

Default yeah...

The weird thing was that I was just reacting. I didnt realize the severity of this and what a possible outcome couldve been if they wouldve ( or were armed). Also if I didnt have a fast car and or knew how to drive. I didnt think about how scared I was until I got home because I was so adrenaline rushed at the time.

Default Wow.

Glad you're alright.

Suggestions
1) keep the doors locked
2) pack heat in the car. Make America safer by doing your part to take out the trash.

I lived in the seattle area for 3 years and never had any crap like that happen.

This is the kind of "kill story" i dont mind hearing about, btw

Default I live in S. Seattle right next to Rainer Ave...

Just last week I had someone try to pick pocket me in walgreens. I have never had any problems up until now. Its really weird. I will keep my doors locked when driving from now on.

How do you keep the doors of a CQ locked while driving?

Push the lock down once your inside and to get out, just open the handle twice...
