Some later B4's came with it painted body color...
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/711/rs23.jpg"></center><p>I wouldn't remove mine on a bet! Without it there's no hedge against parking lot dings. Having it painted the same color as the car is about as good as I want it. Besides it would cost a pretty penny sanding. priming, filling and re-painting both sides of the car covering all the holes that are used to hold this strip on.
