What does your gas cap look like?

<center><img src="http://i20.ebayimg.com/01/i/05/d5/0a/c2_1_b.JPG"></center><p>I saw this pic and thought... that seems odd. Mine is black and doesn't have the ability to hang on the door. Now that I think about it, mine doesn't say Audi on it either. I always wondered why Audi didn't have some type of holder for the cap when you're fueling. I guess its just me.

mine is red, and has a clip to hang on the gas door...but doesn't say audi on it

Those are the older style caps...newer OE ones are black and hang on the door...about $12 IIRC...

Thanks, I must have a non-oem one :-(

wonder why the PO would have gone with an after market cap when the OE is only 12 bucks (mine doesn't say audi, instead is has something else on it but i can't recall now)

No clue...I forget the p/n for the $12 one...the one that pops up in ETKA has some retaining strap..

...and is $30 or $40. Lemme look around for the one with the little lip to hang on the fuel door.
