honestly it doesn't look that hardcore, the camera is lower to the ground that in most car videos that you see on the internet, hence we get an impression that he is going really really fast.
On top of that, the car is completely different from anything that we drive on daily basis. Brakes and accelerates way faster, much more agile and you have a lot more control over whats going on and where you want it to be at any given time.

eh, eh....
few things....if you need life insurance policy then you are scared of driving it - if you are, you'll never use it to a full potential.
Camera is low but driver sits even lower! Think of his perspective now. In most on-board videos it seems that car is moving slower and is more manageable than it actually is, IMO.
I agree its completely different car but just because car does all those things(accelaration, braking, cornering) better than most other street cars it doesn't mean you'll be able to control it better. Your reflexes and state of mind must work at extreme levels. Your physical strength must be at top level, etc.
