Default The latest update...

It's coming along at a nice slow pace. The vacuum booster is now in place and the electric ps pump will find a new home soon. Good thing winter is arriving so I'll have plenty of time to get it done. It seems like I've been here before....

Default What's the advantege of a vacuum vs. hydraulic? ....

On a turbo car, if left-foot braking, isn't vacuum brake booster an issue of some sort? I never drove a turbo on track but I heard something about it?

I've heard various opinions regarding vacuum vs hydraulic. But for my purpose, I like freeing up some space up front when I'll be installing the forward facing intake manifold. No more bomb issues. And only the alternator using the engine!

Sounds good. I do like the idea of 12v PS pump but i don't think I'll go that far.

Default Are you upgrading the alternator to handle the increased draw? What fluid will you be using?

I've searched Javad's thread, but saw no mention of whether he stayed with Pentosin or not. Do you know how many amps the MR2 pump draws?

For the PS pump I'll be using a 200 amp solenoid to power it. It only draws around 70-80. I'll also be using Pentosin, Javad uses it and says there isn't anything better.
