Tires and alignment are not Audi-specific expenditures....
and these cars are only as expensive to own as we want them to be. I have only *needed* to change the fluids, a timing belt, and a couple electrical components since owning it. All the other money I've spent has been "wasted" on stuff I *want*. What did that dude in the Matrix say? "There are levels of survival we are willing to accept"?

Well...
The whole tie rod assembly was $78 (front passenger) and the strut mounts were only like 16/each. I could have installed the tie rod, but didn't feel like it so when I had the mounts installed they installed the tie rod too. Labor $180. I have enough time to work on one car....not two.
