crazy brake hiss. can't figure it out.
so far, i know it's not the cruise control module, don't think it's the master, but it could be.
symptoms: constant hiss inside the car. goes away when i apply slight pressure to the pedal. when i start the car, the brake light is one for a second, then stays off.
drives me crazy, and is probably not too safe.

Ok I think I may have posted this before but if you are hearing a hissing...
down there and you know absolutely 100% sure that it isn't a leak in the vacuum lines & valves connected to the brake & gas pedals from the Cruise Control...then if are you not hearing the heater shutter closing & opening at start up...you are hearing vacuum leaking out one of the lines that controls the shutters behind the dash for the Climate Control system.
