Does anyone know what type and size the fittings are on the v6's fuel rail?

yes. I did know... now I don't. They are pretty odd-ball fittings.... metric of course.
took me for fvckin' ever to determine which were the correct ones. in the end each fitting cost me $12. sorry I can't recall the specifications.
My OE braided fuel lines gave up back in May. So I had to re-make new replacements; hence why I needed to find the odd-ball female fitting for at the fuel rail.
My best suggestion is to take the original lines w/fitting in to a very well stocked gas & fluids supply outlet. Go through all the catalogues they have for fittings and start testing each piece that's promising.
I searched this forum and found one bit of info, but in the end it turned out to be kinda wrong (as far as I could tell.)

yupp, I need to know for the same reason.... braided lines dumping fuel everywhere..
I may try to re-use the current ends with some new hose, but I'm probably going to end up doing what you suggested, and taking them to a shop n digging around for matching fittings..
Fuel spraying out at high pressure is NOT fun. Almost burned down the garage!
