Amazon sells Audi parts...

But if its "NLA" (no longer available) and supercedes to Monroe/Gabriel...
it doesnt cut much ice with me or many others. And even "if" there was at one time a Spicer strut mount it doesnt mean it was made by Spicer. Could've been a Monroe/Gabriel unit all along.
Bottom line is "trust no one and nothing until its been tried/tested." Kinda defeats the purpose of looking for best product/price if you end up buying/testing half a dozen strut mounts and end up back where it all began. My guess is you're gonna have a tough time beating the strut mounts with the VAG logos on em. Least if history and prior testing accounts for anything.
But as I said yesterday, "not my money." Buy as many as ya can. I'm delighted to let anyone that wants test all the new mounts they can get their hands on. We all benefit.

oh yeah, so's Meyle strut mounts & KYB shocks. There's a butt for every seat.
But you wont find em on anything I own.

Its actually a VERY good name in driveline components and partnered with Lobro...
the people that make all Porsche, Audi, VW, Mercedes and BMW drivelines. Lobro/Spicer is HUGE in CV's, driveline and Guibo coupling industry and is at the the head of the class. Major contributor to Hewland transaxles.
MAJOR heavy-hitter in the industry and a VERY top-shelf name. But I can find no latent evidence of them making a strut mount for us. But your link definately piqued my interest as it "is" a great manufacturer with a history of world-class quality.
