The time has come to do the swap...
The time has come to do the 20vt swap into my CQ, but for some reason I am painfully unmotivated to begin. I got the 80 outside awaiting the tow truck, the RX7 stripped of its engine and fuel tank parked behind it, awaiting the same fate. The CQ is in the garage, hood open, 3B sitting in front of it begging to take the 7A's place, but I'm more interested in pulling apart that pandora's box of a wankel engine dangling from the hoist, just to see what makes it tick. I hope motivation will find me tomorrow or next week. The RX7 was the last thing in the way of doing the swap.
On another note, for those of you who were around when I first swapped the 3B into my 80q, you will recall that it took me 2 weeks to do. This time around, I have nearly everything I need to make it run sitting in my garage, so I'm setting the goal of 3 days from when I start pulling it apart to the time I start it up with the 3B. Lets see if I can break some records.
