blower motor dying... recommendations for a replacement?
This week it started squealing like crazy at random times as well as when I make right turns (and what a horrible squeal it is). I don't think I want a used one b/c of the assumed short life. So the question is... go with a OE part or aftermarket.. any experiences with either? The aftermarket are naturally cheaper but I still want a quality motor.

My brushes were completely worn out and baked. I took it apart and replaced the brushes with ones supplied by alternator shop. You might want to look at that first given you have nothing to lose.

Re: There aren't any aftermarket ones that I know of...all are Valeo...
One site listed two. One was ~$80 and the other (listed as OE) was ~$200. Thats why I asked. I'll just look for one that in-between! :-)
