Ok, it looks like I'm probably going to go with a special order Sparco Modena CF seat...
And barring the possible option of getting a custom red (Porsche Guards Red) insert I'll go with black. However it was pointed out to me that Guards Red "may" be a $300 option per-seat by the factory in Turin. It would also add 2 months. If thats the case I'm inclined to go with the 2-tone Guards Red/Black leather as the red is virtually a dead-nuts perfect match to Audi's laser red. In fact my body shop guy tells me its only 1 digit off in the Glasurit (Porsche/Audi) paint matching system. And that they're virtually indistinguishable unless one is laid directly on top the other in bright/direct sunlight. He further states that he doubts the color metering system in the computer matching setup is capable of making such a small difference reliably time after time. He also adds that he seriously doubts that after he paints my car that even if he left the under-hood as Audi laser red and paints the rest of the car Porsche Guards Red that anyone would even see the tape/masking line.
Now I havent decided to go this way but I would seriously consider it if the red leather in the seats were a "very" close match to my cars exterior color. Given that can anyone do a Photoshop on the red in the seat above and make it more of a tomato red. Doesnt have to be exact Porsche/Audi color but any red with a little more orange hue to it? Would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
And yes, I know this wouldnt be everyone's cup of tea. But please allow me to do what I'd like on my car even if it wouldnt be the way you'd go. I'm not convinced I'd do anything other than black even if custom red is possible. But I'd at least like to see the above red in a closer match than is on the pic.
That wouldnt look bad or out of place at all in this
And ya never know. I might someday decide to make all the wood trim laser or guards red. It could happen!

I had alcantara seats from an S4 in my A4... NEVER again! And for the same reasons I wont own a suede jacket or suede shoes. It absorbs instead of repels everything that hits it.
