ABS switch partly resolved

I replaced the ABS switch in the console, now when I press it, the ABS warning light comes on so it was indeed the switch. I still don't get an orange or yellow triangle in the switch but that could be a switch illumination problem. What is the easiest way to get to the actuator which regulates air from the vents to the windshield? Mine does not change. ALso the heater control seems to be unreliable.

1=replace bulb in ABS switch. 2= U seem to have eletrical gremlins...check...

your trunk wire harness and your ignition switch.

If you have never repalced your ignition switch...do so....it is cheep as far as audis go

To get to the flaps & heater core the whole dash has to come out - check the tech section...

Um, he's talking about the flaps for the vents & the heater core...that's all buried behind...

Re: you can get to the *****, check to see if they are working first.

Ahem. No *****. Just a digital display and a choice between cabin or windshield. I have bought a new controller but suspect it could also be an actuator.
