Default Limped home from the track two weekends ago...no more front brakes..

Lesson learned..even though I checked for pad depth..it proved insufficient for Laguna Seca raceway...Note to self...bring race pads to Laguna next time...NEW ONES...not partially used stock brake pads. Did you know you could ebrake all the way home from Monterey to San Jose? Well, I did it.

Default Aw, Steve. I thought you'd know better...

Same thing happened to me the first time I went to Buttonwillow, except that I had no extra pads. I drove from the track back to the Bay Area with 2-3mm of brake material left on each front pad. Never again!

Default BTDT at, during, after Watkins Glen. I did another practice session and 2-lap time trial w/ no rear

brake pads and VERY low fronts. Needless to say, it was a stupid thing to do, but I didn't race near anyone in the braking zones. Thankfullly, I didn't wad it up in a wall.

Sparks were flying from the rears:

Default Steve - I am surprised at you - Laguna is very tough on brakes.

ColoradoMark had to drive home from Kansas with the same problem in his A4.
