if I wanna pull the TIP chip, the chip itself, I would follow the

tech article for the tip chip ecu install, and pull the chip from within the ecu, right? That's what I was doing until I pulled the ecu, and inside looks nothing like I thought. Couldn't find the tip chip itself.

The Tip Chip should be sitting on a socket on the board. Do you have your stock chip on a socket?

The tip chip should be an entire daughter board, about 2" x 1"

I have the OEM tip chip, and had the G2 chip installed when the

tip chip was installed. I'm figuring just to pull the Tip chip and replace that with the OEM chip.
