Got lucky with Audi Assured warranty and my clutch...
They were going to waive the labor charges to install the clutch and pressure plate since they were doing the throw out bearing and fly wheel under warranty.
They took a wicked long time--7.5 business days--and I was starting to get angry, but this morning the service consultant told me he had some good news. He said they made a convincing argument to AoA to replace my clutch and pressure plate under warranty, because the fly wheel left some nasty marks and/or caused damage to the pressure plate!
I'm unclear as to how the fly wheel affects the pressure plate, but I'm very glad I got all of that work done under warranty.
