Time for new shocks (springs, too?). Should I "STaSIS"?
'99 1.8T w/stock, sport shocks and the OEM eurosport springs (ProKit?). My car now has $84K miles on it, of which about 54K miles is on the eurosport springs. I was originally going to just replace the shocks w/Bilsteins or the Eibach Pro Dampers (from TireRack...they are made by Sachs, I think). Now I'm considering replacing the springs, too...and some friends, including SScott & DAP have been raving over their STaSIS springs. One of the reasons I'm considering going w/a STaSIS set up is b/c I track the car 2-3 times per year and am willing to give up some comfort in place of some performance! Another reason I'd like to go w/a more aggressive set up than I have now is b/c I've done the BIRA System 1 brake upgrade a while back (Boxster calipers, A8 rotors) and would be happier w/a little less nose dive. I haven't posted here in a while and am "outta the loop" w/respect to the latest and greatest suspensions out there, etc. I'm not looking to drop a big, big, bucks but would be willing to spend an adequate amount, I guess. Suggestions, recommendations, experiences, etc. all very much appreciated!

How much are you looking to spend?
$1300 - H&R A4 Coilovers, or S4 coilovers if you want something a bit firmer. While I haven't tried the S4 coilovers in the A4, my observations of them in the S4 tell me they would probably be a nice solution in the A4 (they feel too soft for the S).
~$2300 - Stasis Tracksports. I've written posts on these. In general, very very nice kit. They are virtually custom spec'd kits. Here is one post on I've written comparing various solutions available for the S <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1236250.phtml">(Click Me)</a>.
~$2800 - Stasis Motorsports. As above, however they feature wideband externally adjustable compression AND rebound dampening.

Hey, Dave! I'm happy to see it's the same ol' faces...
I'm going to Lime Rock this month and will go to at least one of the two Glen events. Not sure just yet... Does this mean YOU'LL be there in July??

Nope, I didn't go to either of the winter events this year...b/c...
I was all signed up for one of them and had to cancel b/c the previous weekend, while snowboarding in the woods @Stowe, VT, I had a bad accident w/Mr. Tree. Completely severed my MCL, partially tore my ACL, ripped up both medial & lateral meniscus, and put a 12mm impaction fracture in my tibia! This happened in February, on my birthday! I had knee surgery in March and am doing MUCH better - after 6 weeks of physical therapy. It sucked, tho...I was on crutches and various knee/leg braces and didn't drive for a month!
