my new xenon don't seem very bright, the pattern is lot wider but ...

not the bright white as i expected but rather a dim greenish white, it seem like I could see better with my halogen. This is with halogen housing and spp 5000k kit. Do they need to be adjusted or I expected too much.

Try borrowing or buying a xenon housing. Should still be bright...try adjusting lights correctly
