Stoptech Stainless Steel Brake Lines - Installed Today!
The boyz at Euroclass installed the StopTech Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines for me today -(along with my new WOA stage 3 Clutch).
As usual Louie was absolutley meticulous ensuring absolutley no air in the lines - the whole system was bled and flushed and new Dot 6 High Performance fluid used.
Pedal Feel is definately improved with the SS lines - the stock sponginess is completley gone and the pedal 'feel' is much firmer. Whilst some of this is attributable to the 'bleed and flush' - most of it is due to the near zero flex in the new lines.
You can see in the pics below the high quality construction of the lines - including a full clear plastic sheath over the braid to protect it from damage and rubber end coverings. Conveniently the lines are tagged with yellow rubber bands as DOT approved - for any boyz in blue who see fit to poke their noses under the wheel arches.

After switching to Motul RBF 600, the pedal greatly increased in firmness. I would think the stock
lines don't flex that much over the braided lines. They sure do look nice! But, there's some controversy of using them. ...where's that article?... *searching*
